New Teen Workshop In Caldicot
Caldicot Town Team are working with Monmouthshire Housing Association and Social Soundwaves to put on a range of interactive workshops for Comprehensive School Age.
Interactive workshops are planned to take place until the summer in CORE Caldicot for teenagers to learn new skills and experience new tasks.
The workshops include learning skills on a mixing deck and DJ’ing, Fashion design, Dance Troupe skills, T-shirt design and rapping and music skills.
Supported by Gareth from Social Soundwaves and Caldicot Town Team, these free sessions are designed to give young people a range of new skills where they will be able to get hands-on experience.
Speaking after the first meeting, Gareth from Social sound waves said;
In all the workshops I have run in recent years, its amazing to see how diverse and how many different skills the group want to get involved with, from piano playing to rapping and from t-shirt designs to amazing fashion design dresses. I am really excited to be involved with the project and can’t wait to get stuck in with the young people to see what we can achieve together.
